Lucky for us, Gus Villarreal put his creativity to use for MS awareness and we are green with envy over his winning video! About MS3Things
The National MS Society designated March 8-14, 2010 as MS Awareness Week, a national initiative that brings volunteers and communities together to recognize the impact and challenges of MS. The purpose of MS3Things is to raise awareness for multiple sclerosis not only during MS Awareness Week, but year-round through various avenues including videos. Each video submitted was required to incorporate three things related to MS (outlined below). Five finalist videos were selected from all submissions, and were then be eligible for public voting to determine a grand-prize winner.
Judging of Videos
During the Judging Period, a panel of judges selected five (5) finalists from all eligible video entries received based on the following criteria:
- Content
- Creativity
- Clarity
- Use of the Theme
Determining the Winner
During the Public Voting Period, a link to a voting page containing each Finalist's video entry was posted on the contest website. The Finalist video entry that received the most votes during the Public Voting Period was deemed the Grand Prize winner.
Your Prize
A Flip UltraHD camcorder will be awarded to the Grand Prize winner. The other four finalists will receive the runner-up prize of Society merchandise. All other individuals who submitted a video but were not selected as a finalist will receive a prize.
